España met with labor unions on August 21 to address ongoing labor disputes. Led by HR Chief Carmen Maja-Rex, the company presented a formal document committing to withdraw a Supreme Court appeal regarding Temporary Disability payments by August 24.
The proposal includes returning discounted disability funds to workers and guaranteeing salary increases aligned with the IPC. Airbus also offered additional recovery for a 9% purchasing power loss and pledged to restore previous teleworking conditions.
Despite these concessions, , CGT, and ÚTIL, representing 25% of the table, have called for a new strike starting August 24. This follows the rejection of a July agreement by most employees, while CCOO, SIPA, and ATP declined to join the new walkout.
