The **Cecotec** group and **Almussafes City Council** have signed a protocol to develop a 150 million euro gigafactory for industrialised housing. Located in the ZND-IN1 sector, the 515,000-square-metre plant will have an annual capacity of 6,000 homes or 500,000 square metres. Operating under grade 6 industrialisation standards, the facility aims to complete 95% of building work off-site. CEO **César Orts** and Mayor **Toni González** confirmed the process will reduce delivery times to three months, creating 4,000 direct and indirect jobs. The project targets the local 7% unemployment rate through collaboration with the **Local Development Agency** for training and recruitment. This strategic partnership ensures the massive industrial investment directly benefits the workforce within the municipality. ## Related news #Cecotec #SmartHome #ElectricHeater #HomeTech #InteriorDesign 8 November 2026 at 12:28 ## [Cecotec launches Ready Warm 6750 heater for €95]() > The new 2000W glass electric heater features Wi-Fi control and IP24 splash-proofing for efficient heating in rooms up to 20 square metres. #FordValencia #Almussafes #AutomotiveIndustry [#UGT]() #ManufacturingJobs 30 September 2026 at 17:40 ## [Ford Valencia plant secures jobs until 2030]() > Workers at the Almussafes factory reach a new labour agreement guaranteeing employment and production expansion for the next four years.
