Feijóo pledges priority plan for Ceuta

PP leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo promises a specific investment plan and new immigration laws for Ceuta if he becomes Prime Minister.

PP leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo has visited Ceuta for the fifth time since late July, pledging that the city will be the first priority for the Council of Ministers if he reaches Moncloa. He has commissioned Juan Bravo and Alma Ezcurra to draft a specific plan.

The proposal includes 8,000 new homes, expanded healthcare staff, and a single military base. A specific tax system for Ceuta and Melilla is planned alongside a new National Police station, a Civil Guard headquarters, and an extension of the Tarajal breakwater.

Feijóo also proposed a new Immigration Law to allow immediate returns, with the PP registering the bill in Congress. Citing Article 8 of the Constitution, he emphasised the role of the Armed Forces in guaranteeing Spain's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
