> Workers at the Almussafes factory reach a new labour agreement guaranteeing employment and production expansion for the next four years.

Workers at the [Ford](<https://spainnews.co.uk/entity/ford-of-europe-q571934>) plant in [Almussafes](<https://spainnews.co.uk/entity/almussafes-q1770040>), [Valencia](<https://spainnews.co.uk/entity/valencia-q8818>), have secured a new labour framework following negotiations involving [UGT](<https://spainnews.co.uk/entity/union-general-de-trabajadores-q833196>) union representatives. The agreement guarantees employment until 2030 and follows the electrification pact signed back in 2022.

The deal includes salary increases exceeding the Consumer Price Index, featuring a retroactive review clause effective each January. Staff will receive a rise of up to 1,000 euros in 2027, with increases consolidated into salary tables starting from 2029.

This stability follows [Geely](<https://spainnews.co.uk/entity/geely-q739000>)'s 221 million euro purchase of a 34% stake. As the site nears its 50th anniversary, production will expand from one to five models, increasing the maximum annual capacity to 400,000 units to ensure the factory's long-term future.
