> Free installations across Madrid celebrate the Mexican tradition with unique displays at El Retiro and CentroCentro until early November.

**Madrid** is hosting four Day of the Dead altars for the All Saints' Day weekend, located at **El Retiro**, Palacio de Cristal de Arganzuela, CentroCentro, and **Fernán Gómez theatre**. Created with **Fundación Casa de México**, these free installations are open to the public.

Visitors can explore Fer Feres's Mictlán tunnel at El Retiro or the botanical tribute at Arganzuela until 2 November. CentroCentro features a white and silver design, while the Fernán Gómez altar, dedicated to the Generation of '27, remains open until 8 November.

Recognised by **Unesco** as Intangible Cultural Heritage, this tradition centres on 2 November. Beyond the displays, the Fernán Gómez theatre provides free decoration workshops, though visitors must register via their website to participate in these sessions.
