Moroccan warships entered **Ceuta**'s waters without authorisation on 30 and 31 July, coinciding with a mass entry of migrants. The **Spanish Navy** intervened by deploying the frigate Santa María, which suffered a breakdown, followed by the frigate Navarra. While the government did not report the incursion at the time, 40 documents related to the Ceuta crisis were declassified in September.
