# Openbank launches 3.25% TAE savings account

> Santander's digital arm Openbank debuts a high-interest savings account with a 200 euro bonus and cashback rewards for new customers.

[Openbank](<https://spainnews.co.uk/entity/openbank-q7096483>), [Santander](<https://spainnews.co.uk/entity/banco-santander-q6496310>)'s digital subsidiary, has launched a new savings account for new customers offering a 3.2% nominal interest rate and 3.25% [TAE](<https://spainnews.co.uk/entity/effective-interest-rate-q1336231>). The account features monthly interest payments and has no maximum balance limit for remuneration purposes.

To access the 3.25% TAE, customers must activate [Bizum](<https://spainnews.co.uk/entity/bizum-q66106225>). A 200 euro welcome bonus is available for those who domicile two bills by 31 October. Additionally, a six-month deposit offers 3.25% TAE for new funds, provided a monthly income of 900 euros is domiciled.

Linked customers benefit from 1% cashback on Bizum online purchases and 2% savings on [Amazon.es](<https://spainnews.co.uk/entity/amazon-company-q3884>) gift cards. The bank has also introduced a broker commission of one euro per trade with no custody fees, alongside mortgage discounts and global travel benefits.
