Her studies will be based at the Getafe campus, where she joins a cohort of approximately 40 new students for the academic term. The first semester curriculum comprises four mandatory subjects and two electives. University administration confirmed that the Princess will be treated as a regular student, ensuring her presence does not impact academic freedom or standard teaching methods. All community members must adhere to the Rules of Coexistence, which prohibit mobile phone use during classes. These regulations also prioritise mediation for conflict resolution, maintaining a consistent disciplinary framework for the entire student body. ## Related news #PrincessOfAsturiasAwards #PrincessLeonor #SpanishRoyalFamily #Oviedo #PattiSmith 17 October 2026 at 10:19 ## [Princess Leonor to lead 2026 Asturias Awards]() > Princess Leonor will preside over her first solo audience in Oviedo as the Royal Family prepares for the 2026 Princess of Asturias Awards.
