[#AudienciaNacional]() [#Ceuta]() # Prosecutor backs Ceuta mass entry investigation 4 September 2026 at 15:24 > Spain's Audiencia Nacional prosecutor supports a probe into Moroccan security forces over the mass entry of immigrants into Ceuta. Jesús Alonso, the chief prosecutor of the **Audiencia Nacional**, has informed Judge María Tardón in favour of investigating a mass entry of immigrants into **Ceuta**. The events occurred on the 30th and 31st, prompting a formal statement from the prosecutor's office. The investigation focuses on crimes of favouring irregular immigration, homicide, and injuries due to gross negligence. A National Police report identifies members of the Moroccan security forces as responsible for facilitating the illegal mass entry. Alonso asserts the Audiencia Nacional is competent to investigate crimes committed outside national territory. The probe will determine if these actions involve criminal organisations or affect the public order, peace, and independence of the Spanish State. ## Related news #OuigoStrike #TrainCancellations #SpainTransport [#Semaf]() [#AudienciaNacional]() 29 October 2026 at 18:47 ## [Court suspends Ouigo minimum services for strike]() > The Audiencia Nacional has halted a Ministry of Transport resolution, forcing Ouigo to cancel 40 trains and impacting 20,000 passengers.
