In **Oliva**, 395 litres per square metre fell by 7:00 AM, prompting the activation of the **Military Emergencies Unit** to manage severe flooding. Emergency services issued an ES-Alert at 5:30 AM as the Vernisa River reached a flow of 260 cubic metres per second. In Pego, where rainfall exceeded 470 litres, residents awaited aerial rescue on rooftops, while the Girona River overflowed in Beniarbeig. The **Generalitat** has declared Situation 2 of the Special Flood Plan, suspending schools for 87,000 students and halting rail services.
