The affected batch was also distributed to **Portugal** but has now been withdrawn from the market. While the quantity of eggs remains undisclosed, the **Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition** considers the risk mitigated and has not listed a public alert. Salmonellosis causes symptoms including fever and nausea within 72 hours.
