Spain's 2025 GDP revised to 1.69 trillion euros

The INE has adjusted Spain's 2025 nominal GDP upwards while revising real growth to 2.6% amid strong agricultural and professional gains.

The Instituto Nacional de Estadística has revised Spain's 2025 nominal Gross Domestic Product upwards by 2,860 million euros, reaching a total value of 1,690,012 million euros. This update reflects a 0.2% increase over previous calculations for the period.

Real GDP growth for 2025 is now adjusted to 2.6%, down from the earlier 2.8% estimate. While national demand contributed 3.4 points, the external sector saw a negative impact of -0.8 points as imports rose by 5.5% and export growth slowed to a rate of 2.6%.

Sector performance was led by an 11.9% rise in agriculture and 7.2% in professional activities. These figures follow a definitive 2.4% growth rate for 2023 and a revised 3.7% for 2024, confirming a steady expansion despite a deceleration in consumption.
