A 50-year-old male member of the German musical duo Das Ich died following a performance at the Planta Baja venue in Granada. Emergency services were alerted around midnight between Friday 25 September and Saturday 26 September 2026 after he collapsed.
Local Police, National Police, and 061 health workers attended the scene after 112 received reports of an unresponsive individual. Despite the rapid response, medical professionals confirmed the man was already deceased upon their arrival at the venue.
The concert was promoted as the first appearance in southern Spain for the group, comprising Stefan Ackermann and Bruno Kramm. Das Ich are recognised as pioneers of the 1990s Neue Deutsche Todeskunst movement, marking a significant loss for the genre.
