Train drivers at Ouigo have announced six days of strike action across October, November, and December. The Sindicato de Maquinistas (SEMAF) has confirmed 24-hour stoppages for 30 October and 2 November, with partial strikes scheduled for four further dates.
The industrial action involves approximately 100 drivers and affects high-speed services across 15 provinces, including Madrid, Barcelona, and Seville. Partial walkouts will occur between 06:00-12:00 and 18:00-00:00 on 6 and 9 November, and 4 and 8 December.
SEMAF alleges systematic breaches of the 2024 collective agreement, citing excessive workdays and unpaid overtime. While Ouigo management acknowledges interpretative differences regarding shifts, they have committed to keeping all passengers fully informed.
