Spain sees nationwide housing protests in 50 cities

The Confederación de Sindicatos de Inquilinas leads three days of coordinated marches across Spain to highlight national housing concerns.

Coordinated housing demonstrations are set to take place across dozens of Spanish cities on October 2, 3, and 4. The Confederación de Sindicatos de Inquilinas and various social groups have promoted over fifty mobilizations, including rallies and marches.

Events are scheduled from early morning until night. In Madrid, four columns will converge at Cibeles, while specific itineraries have been confirmed for Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Guadalajara, León, Toledo, Vigo, and Córdoba to guide local participants.

These widespread mobilizations represent a significant collective action regarding housing issues across Spain. By organizing more than fifty events in numerous urban centres, the groups aim to highlight their concerns through a unified national presence.
