Five people have been arrested following a collision between a drug boat and a Civil Guard patrol vessel off the coast of Adra, Almeria. The incident occurred on Sunday morning, 13 September 2026, with two individuals taken to Hospital Universitario de Poniente.

One suspect remains in intensive care following the crash, which has been confirmed by the Almeria Civil Guard Command. The collision took place at the same location where a Customs Surveillance Service member previously died during a similar maritime operation.
