The Guardia Civil has launched an investigation following the discovery of two male bodies on the Málaga coastline. Both individuals, identified as migrants, were found wearing neoprene suits in separate locations across the province earlier this week.
The first body was located on Tuesday, 15 September, on the western coast of Málaga. Exactly 24 hours later, the body of a young man was discovered in Nerja. Neither individual was carrying identification, and authorities are working to establish their identities.
Investigators have initially ruled out a connection between these deaths and the mass entry of migrants into Ceuta in late July. The discovery highlights the ongoing risks faced by migrants at sea, though the specific circumstances remain under formal inquiry.
