Spain have secured their second U-20 Women's World Cup title after defeating North Korea in a penalty shootout in Lodz. Following a goalless 120 minutes, the Spanish side converted every spot-kick to overcome the defending champions and claim the trophy.

Real Madrid goalkeeper Laia López proved decisive, saving attempts from Choe Yon A and Pak Ok I. Spain entered the final having conceded just once, while North Korea had kept six clean sheets. Noe Bejarano returned to David Aznar's starting XI for the win.

This victory marks Spain's second world title at this level, following their 2022 success against Japan. The match featured thirteen players who competed in the 2024 U-17 final, highlighting the continued dominance of both nations in youth women's football.
